Personal manager and producer Clinton Ford Billups Jr. has more than 30 years of experience in artist management, event production and entertainment media.


In 1988, he was elected to membership in the National Conference of Personal Managers (NCOPM) and since 2002 has served as the NCOPM National President. Founded in 1957, NCOPM is the nation's oldest professional trade association committed to the advancement of personal managers and their clients. He has managed the careers of numerous celebrities, entertainers and media personalities.


He has produced numerous Las Vegas award shows, casino shows, concerts, conferences, trade shows and other special events at Alexis Park Resort, Caesars Palace, Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas Convention Center, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, OYO Hotel & Casino, The Palms Casino Resort, Sands Expo & Convention Center, The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and Wynn Las Vegas.


Mr. Billups produces and directs "April in Vegas," a streaming TV chat show (SAG-AFTRA) that is produced on location at The English Hotel, the new Marriott Tribute Portfolio boutique hotel anchored by celebrity chef Todd English in the Las Vegas Arts District.


For eight years, he was the Executive Producer of the Casino Entertainment AwardsTM, the official awards honoring outstanding casino artists, executives and venues nationwide, and served as Executive Producer of Oscar Night® Las Vegas, an annual celebration of the Academy Awards®, which was officially sanctioned by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.


For more than a decade, Mr. Billups served as Director of Entertainment Industry Relations for G2E, the Global Gaming Expo, the world’s largest annual gathering of casino entertainment executives and also served on the American Gaming Association G2E Conference Advisory Board.

Mr. Billups is also an expert consultant and witness on trade custom, usage and practices for arbitration and litigation related to entertainment, media and the performing arts. More...


The International Film & TV Festival recognized Mr. Billups as a television producer for “worthy achievement in creativity and effective communication in comedy television programming.” The Festival awarded him an international bronze medal for American Campus Tour, a television special starring Emmy recipient Jayne Kennedy. The Festival also selected Kreskin`s Quest, created and produced by Mr. Billups, as one of the top 10 international variety/music specials of the year.


Along with Texas billionaire Ross Perot and cosmetics entrepreneur Mary Kay Ash, Mr. Billups is featured in The Greatest Sales Stories Ever Told - From The World′s Best Salespeople by Robert L. Shook (McGraw-Hill, 1995). He is also featured in I′ll Get Back To You - 156 Ways to Get People to Return Your Calls by Eric Yaverbaum and Robert Shook (McGraw-Hill, 1996).


He has served on boards of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives, the International Entertainment Buyers Association and the National Association For Campus Activities. He is a past president of the Connecticut chapter of Sales and Marketing Executives International.


Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Mr. Billups is a graduate of Lafayette College and studied business management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army Field Artillery, was a graduate of the Connecticut Police Academy and served as a Connecticut state and municipal law enforcement officer.
